Why wouldn't it already be installed? Eotech isn't exactly know for holding a zero when mounted and undisturbed, imagine taking it off then reinstalling it without another zero.

I've used Eotech for years and never had a problem with them holding zero....but of course I'm not in -40° or 140°+ weather. I have ventured over to Aimpoint though and I'm really starting to like them.
