Simple question here.

I have a colt 1911 with Novak sights. I want to put on the Kimber sights I just really like that slope look.

I know they are different sight cuts. I hear with minimal fitting they will work in Novak cut.

Is that true?

Or

Are there any sights that have that nice looking slope to the rear sight like the Kimber sights?

If it matters this is my Colt and these are the style Kimber sights I want.

Not really. The cut is totally different. The Novak cut is .495 x .125 x 65', the Kimber cut is .3605 x .194 x 60'. Additionally, the Kimber cut is futher forward on the slide, so even if it fit a Kimber sight in a Novak cut would overhang the rear of the sight and look like total crap.

That’s exactly what I needed to know thank you!
