"We call upon ATF to conduct a prompt review and evaluation of aftermarket trigger activation devices such as bump stocks to determine whether they are lawful to install and use on a firearm under the National Firearms Act of 1934 (NFA), or whether, if they have no function or purpose other than to convert a conventional firearm into an automatic firearm, they are regulated items under the NFA,"

I don't understand why any firearm organization, manufacturer or accessory company would operate their businesses and provide economic benefits (taxes, jobs) to CT, MA, NY or any other rabid anti-gun state.
Probably because they're more concerned about their big business donors. Assault weapons bans are probably good for the big companies like freedom group, Beretta, browning..

Seems like marketing, overall operating costs, the real possibility of your product being destroyed with in state legislation as opposed to a gun-friendly, pro 2A environment would trump business donors. Perhaps Cabelas and Bass Pro are missing the mark and should open up a store in Clayton Co.

How about they review the 1934 NFA and the Hughes amendment to the 1986 FOPA and see if it is constitutional to ban the future manufacturer of a legal to own firearm for the duration of our Republic?
