Here's the more troubling line I see in that section:
"They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent."
Gun Show Loophole is (as I understand it) being able to sell a gun to an individual- person to person sales- without a 4473/ background check. I'd hate to see that becoming illegal, but I think I'd miss being able to buy an AR at Academy more.

Its funny because "assault rifles" make up less than 4% of the gun crime in this country. 4%. Big woop. Leave my AK alone!
Hopefully the NRA will block that... I wasn't of gun owning age with it when into effect the first time... What happened when the ban went/goes into effect?
Agreed... if you want to solve gun crimes, get rid of Hi-Points (sorry Vanny), RGs, and cheap revolvers. Zip guns have hurt way more people than $1K semi-auto rifles.
17 round Glock mags went to close to a hundred bucks apiece. Don't even ask about 30 round rifle mags.
But if you already had one you where fine. But 'new' ones are no longer publicly available? I wonder what the going rate for my 33rd glock mag would be
