Spent some time in Dublin, Ireland where I found many people who found it "mind boggling" why I needed to own so many firearms. ( Well I didn't NEED to)
However in the few months I was there I counted 4 murders by claw hammer, 2 by stabbing, 1 from a firebombing, and 1 more who was punched to death outside a bar- and that was just Dublin City in about a months time!
How's that for some "commonsense" weapons control?

see, this is what bothers me. If your going to kill me just shoot me and get it over with. Dont kill me with a friggin claw hammer. That is one messed up and painful way to die.

Assault weapon is in the eye of the beholder. Last time it meant anything black plastic with a bayonet stud and a flash suppressor. It also limited mags to 10rnds. Who know what it will mean the next time. Maybe five rnds. Maybe anything semi auto. Maybe anything but hunting guns whatever that means. Nobody can be injured or deadly fire with only 10 rounders lol.Anybody halfway proficient can do mag swaps 2-3 seconds.

IMO-- The words "assault rifle" borrowed from the military atmosphere were purposely injected into the civilian atmoshpere by some "anti " to place fear in the minds of the public. Ever notice how the un-biased media will be the first ones to use to word assault as an adjective to describe a rifle? I refuse to use the word assault as an adjective to describe a rifle.

NOTE: I once assaulted a womans azz with my hand because she had asked me to because it turned her on. I now have an "assault hand".

We're ****ed either way! Governor Romney signed the permanent ban for assault rifle bill for Massachusetts... I don't know if Romney was forced to sign it or if thats what he really believes. I know Paul Ryan is a hunter, maybe theres hope...

Except if you are a member of any Mexican Drug Cartel then Obama, Biden and Holder will deliver them to you for no additional charge and no questions asked.

Here's the more troubling line I see in that section:

Gun Show Loophole is (as I understand it) being able to sell a gun to an individual- person to person sales- without a 4473/ background check. I'd hate to see that becoming illegal, but I think I'd miss being able to buy an AR at Academy more.
