Odd ammo

I picked this up in trade today and although I've shot a **** load of wadcutters I've never seen any quite like this. Apparently loaded by " Advanced Bullets" of Carrollton GA.
Anyone have experience with these?

Looks like 38 Special bullets we use to load for the S&W M52. Except these bullets are seated flush.

We also inverted the standard H&G wad cutter to the same effect.
