If your tub/shower is white the PVC trim boards will work perfectly. That's what I've used in the past.

But that stuff is very soft, almost like foam. I don't think it would take a shower door sitting on it for long.

It's a rigid trim board.made from the same stuff that a drain pipe is made from. I've used it for shower door shims several times.

Well there's definitely a will to get my shower door to quit leaching that brown stuff from the wood shim. It looks too much like dried urine. Very unattractive. Blechhhhhh.....
