ODT classifieds stays true to form

I just saw an ad for Winchester m855 ammo for $17.50 for a 20 round box. This this ammo sells for under $10 a box at just about any place you look. It's $8 and some change at Scheels.

Man it just keeps getting better and better!

🤣🤣🤣
I've had the same issue. PSA was selling Fiocchi 5.7 FMJ for cheap (150 round boxes, but are OOS now). I posted looking for 5.7 FMJ at or below that price point, in bulk. I was getting offers of 5.7 FMJ for $.10+ MORE per round than what I was willing to pay (I even disclosed it in the ad). Blows my mind.

I call discrimination!!!! My add was moved to the pasture. I was put out to pasture can you believe that. I believe this was a valid and interesting point considering it was on a add for being 10 bucks a box more than new retail at just about every ammo seller in the world. Discrimination I tell you! discrimination! I call foul on the moderators! 🤬

I see it on other sites too.

On ebay you'll see out of print books or DVDs listed for sale. Most will be around the same price, maybe $25 to $45. But then one seller will have the exact same item at $499. It's just crazy. They probably check daily, to see if it has sold and then wonder why it hasn't.

It isn't just ODT. You see seriously stupid prices just about anywhere that the public can list their stuff for sale. I think a lot of it is that some people don't keep up with what is going on in the market and just try to sell their stuff for what they paid for it not realizing the price has come down a good bit. Or maybe they do realize but hope the buyer doesn't.
Stupid prices on here aren't the problem. The problem is not enough stupid buyers to pay those prices.🤪
