ODT drama

I like to use feed back but I also try to remember we all started out with nothing at one point. I try to give every new person I deal with a chance to earn some points

I've done probably a dozen deals with "true noobs" and hell half of them never left FB and have not got on ODT since. Maybe I scared em off :noidea:

You are, of course, welcome to your opinion. I really don't see a change. In the beginnings of ODT there were the money hungry, grab a buck, screw everyone else members, just like there are now. Then there were the members who tried to help everyone get more involved in the hobby. There are still those on here now. I am not naive enough to believe that members who sell anything want to lose money on what they sell. I would love to make money on everything I sell, of course that doesn't happen. But I don't set out to lose money on my hobby. If that makes me all about the money, well, I guess I am.

As always, JDubbs, well said. :yo:

I have not bought much on ODT since joining. New house/remodel and moving down to GA took a toll on our finances.

But here is what I just did: Combined the trips. I bought a holster last week on ODT. It was an hour and a half away from me. Seller was able to meet me during my Thanksgiving trek. Win-Win. He got the cash, I got a great holster and met a very nice guy.

Now, he could have sold it between me first contacting him three weeks ago and finally meeting with him last week, but that was the risk I was willing to take to save my time and money.

I agree. There has always been but to me it seems to be more prevalent these days. I have lost money on more than I have profited from, I assure you.
