I got a chance to try out the Rugged Obsidian tonight after work just before dark. I love it!
I had it on a Glock 21 and a G23 with a 9MM conversion barrel.
I used Winchester white box 45 and 147 grain freedom munitions 9MM.
The 9MM was quieter but not by a whole lot, both were pretty quiet and no hearing protection required of course.
I only had time to run 100 9MM and 50 45ACP through it.
This thing gets hot quick, it burned me once while changing pistons to switch calibers. I was using a rag but slipped.

I am going to pick one up that's a great idea. I did have to snug it up after every magazine or two.
