I have 2 I bought in September about 7 days apart. One has been assigned an examiner and one has not. Any idea on how long after it has been assigned?

Depends on the examiner. Your lucky though because mine from June last year haven’t moved

My son just did an individual E-file form 1 and got it back in about 8 weeks from filed to approved

I have been seeing some insane approval times on /NFA reddit.
Form 1's are the way to go right now, apparently. Some desk jockey over at the ATF is hammering the approvals.
