I've been calling every month. Two weeks ago they said it was pending and had not gone to an examiner. Then approved a week later. No rhyme or reason as usual

Did you call 2 weeks short of your once a month calling to find that out? Not trying to sound like a smart ass. Just wondering if silencershop emailed you or you got some sort of notification?

I called on the 15th of March I think and was told pending and not assigned to an examiner yet. I have seen some approvals lately that purchased around the same time and I was getting a little impatient I guess. I was honestly just calling today to see if I had been assigned an examiner. I got no notification from Silencershop once it was transferred to my FFL. That is where they stop notifications. It was just my lucky day I guess.

Gotcha, I didn’t know if they had changed something that actually notifies you.
