It’s nuts and pisses me off. I did a form 4 the first week of June (2ish weeks after the form 1s) and at this point I’m betting I get it back first.
I’ve reached out to the ATF, submitted an “ask an expert”, and email NICS liaison and they’ve all been unhelpful. Apparently NICS Liaison email no longer answers questions around the background part of form 1s and form 4s, per their reply back to me a few weeks ago.

I'm on day 331 and still waiting for Eform 4, Individual, Surefire Socom 300 SPS.
And 205 days so far for Eform 4, Individual, Surefire Socom 556 RC2.
Yea man, that's crazy. It was 180 days to the day for mine to get approved.
I can't believe it would take yours that much longer....
I talked to a woman at the ATF this morning and she informed me any January 2023 e form 4 has a 12-14 month wait

I got catfished this morning. Checking my emails and I have one from Silencer Shop that say congrats your eform 4 has been approved. I'm all excited thinking to myself that was fast!!!! I submitted 10-24-23. Open the email and it was for a suppressor that was approved and picked up in February. They are just now sending me the email......

Same thing happened with my Obsidian45. Just over 2 months after taking it home, I see that email from Silencer Shop pop up in my inbox. Such a tease!
