Got a call from Agent Jessie about my SBR Form 1. Just needed a picture of receiver showing model and SN - confusion over Colt labels. Uploaded photo, called to confirm, he said should see email with stamp in 30 minutes. Woohoo! Efiled 10/6/14. 31 days! Why did I wait so long to start?!

That's a first. Never heard of them asking for pictures.

Efile on form one are typically right at a month. Now if form 4s took that long id be really really excited

they ask for them if the manufacturer is not in the drop down list or anything is out of the ordinary. you have the option to upload a pic or documents before submitting.

the quick turn around from submittal of the pics is awesome
