Should I ask for a refund and go somewhere that has it in stock, is how I should have asked that. I haven’t even been able to start the clock because the store can’t get it transferred to them.

Are Manufacturer to FFL transfers really taking this long as well?

normally it's maybe 3-7 days for transfers but I would assume with the backlog they might be behind a few days.

maybe make a call to the manufacturer and confirm that they are in stock and give the dealer a few extra days? If the manufacturer is out of stock, it could be longer or maybe the dealer is getting it from a distributor (some manufacturers sell thru distributors, some direct).

Question ... What would be the "downside" if I wanted to cancel my Form 4 Individual submission? Would the ATF refund the $200?

It's been almost a year since submission in March 30, 2018 (check cashed April 9, 2018) for a Sig Sauer RMCX-300B-9B-TAP-SBR. I could use the already $$$ for other purchases.

Man, you’re close to having it. Personally, I’d see it through. Just buy another one and the pain will go away for now...........

My question here is can you return the NFA item purchased? Assuming it’s a suppressor, you have already purchased it and already own (just can’t possess) it. Can the dealer leagally “buy it back?”

I submitted two individual form 1 efile sbr’s in 1/15/19 and received both back on 2/13/19 (this week). So figuring they were shutdown for part of that time, that’s really dang fast basically a month. I don’t understand why all items don’t go that quickly? I have only done one other NFA item, which was an sbr, back in 2015 and it took 3 months. I would like to do a suppressor next but reading this thread it seems it takes forever, why the difference in time? What is it that I am missing? Thx

Submitted my Form 4 for my first suppressor purchase yesterday, 2/14/19. Crossing my fingers to get it back by Christmas. But we’ll see

You are definitely one of the lucky ones that submitted at the right time. Efiles we're taking 2 weeks up until late November, some are still waiting on november efiles. All paper form 1 and 4s are easy 8 months to little over a year right now.

Spoke with the Atf examiner and he said I should have it anytime now. Hopefully....
