ODT selling/trading slowing down

The prices here are as bad as they can get.....for some reason, folks here think their gun is worth more...."it has to be" "it's mine"....$1,500 colt NM, when you can buy new, all day long on Buds for less than $1,100....Browning shotguns for more than retail....AMMO....for God's sake, before you price your ammo, how about checking on Ammo Grab....NOBODY is going to pay you more money for your ammo, when the can buy it, and have it shipped to their door!!! and don't get me started in the "just testing the waters" or "I know what it's worth"...NO apparently you do not know what it's worth....
Anytime is see a gun that I think I might like to have...I go straight to Gunbroker, or Bud's, or, the internet....more that half the time it's cheaper there, and new....
I also just thought of this....the "sniper" rifle....just how many "snipers" are out there, and what exactly are all ya'll sniping???
I'mah just seein' whatz out there.... Whats yer bottom dollar on it? Don't low-ball me bro!

If you're selling, expect more lower offers too...lol. I check those sites when posting something or if I'm looking to buy. Plus my local pawn shown will order me anything for $25 over their cost, which means I can get pretty good deals on most anything. There is no shipping fee or transfer fee that way, so it allows me to beat online prices and ODT prices.

Sellers gotta keep in mind that the market for guns has slowed with 8% to 11% inflation. Guys are cutting back on purchases that aren't a must, just to keep their bills paid. Seems to me there is more and better stuff listed here some days, as members try to free up cash and reduce their collection.

I see PSA rifles selling for more than you can go to the site and buy one with free shipping. That's the reason why stuff isn't selling or at least very underrated reason why stuff isn't selling. If a gun is in brand new low round count condition it should be least a $100 or $200 cheaper than a brand new one for the simple fact is it's not new and the buyer never knows what he's getting until it's taken apart and inspected fully.

I think people that were interested in getting a gun or guns for self defense and the end of the world have already done so at this point.

Anything else is a hobby purchase and many have slowed those down as well.

Hell I’m buying more than ever. $3k worth of night vision shows up this afternoon

That's absolutely 100% on the money. The mass quantities of guns going over the counter has ceased for the very reason you said in the first sentence.

Exactly. A good portion of folks here can get a blue label at GT for $450 max and idk if anyone needs to hear it but stippling lowers value on a Glock even if professional bubba did it.
Guess that depends. I like a good stipple job. That being said im not paying you a full refund of your money on it. But to me it doesn't lower the value. And i doubt most people get blue label, i do but sure as hell not making the drive to gt for one. Lol
