Double down! Tagged out! Wasn't expecting much this morning considering the wind. Hit the owl call at daylight and one went to hammering. Got comfy in a pine blow over and waited. Called alil. Had 3 jakes on me by 8:00. They wouldn't leave so I figured what better decoy than live ones. Group of the big dudes strolled in and I put a bead on the one pushing the jakes around. Another one started flogging the one I just shot but quickly realized it wasn't good when I slammed another round in the chamber. Had to shoot him twice, he was alil further than I estimated. Scared the ---- out of me when he tried to take off and I was 10 foot from him. Gotta thank the Lord for this awesome morning in the woods!
