as a gt fan, even i was sitting there in the fourth quarter thinking "uga should just run the ball like they did in the third quarter and gt loses by six as time expires." however - just like paul johnson has done on several occasions - kirby got a little too cute with throwing the ball and the game played out against him.
i don't think richt would've allowed georgia's offensive line situation to play out all year like it did. if you recruit massive four and five stars at guard/tackle like georgia does - run the **** football and put these close games away!
obviously i'm happy with the outcome but i don't think kirby was coaching to his team's strengths in that fourth quarter. i think richt would've run the ball and ate up the clock.
