most dealers are stuck paying stupid premiums for ASE and what not too. the spot and real price has been decoupled for a long time IMO, even the new york and london bid/ask prices dont line up for ****

Anyone selling at spot?

Besides an intro price from dealers, I have never been able to buy metals at spot, and haven't seen one for silver in several years. I did score a 1 oz gold eagle at spot last year, but even gold is few and far between deals like that.


Generally the only time I have been able to buy at spot was either at a pawn shop or a private seller.
