I've gotten a little silver from private sellers in the past. How many oz would someone suggest you have on hand if time get tough? Silver is like guns in that they don't go bad over time.

Hard to say any specific amount. I'm just trying to fill two cigar boxes with .999 in one and 90% junk silver in the other. That should work out to be somewhere between 200 and 300 ounces which to ME seems like plenty.

Individual Eagles in small quantities are still hanging around $35 ea. Thats way too much premium for my taste.

yea with silver at a tick over 21 a 14 dollar premium is way to high,last few i bought were 10oz bars

monument metals is listing some silver bars at 2.99 over spot some larger bars at 2.79 over spot

i wish i would have saved the link but monument was doing a presale on 10oz bars that were 1.99 over spot,but delivery date was june 24.i should have snagged some of those.
