Would be interested to know what gun it was.
I'm not familiar with any modern firearm that is in decent working order that will go off when dropped.
Almost of these instances are the result of the operator not following the 4 safety rules, specifically not keeping their finger off the trigger.

Says they are gonna send the case to the city attorney for "possible charges". What for? He had a permit and wasn't breaking the law.
Would like to know what kind of holster, if any, he was using?....
The article says that the gun hit the ground and fired not that he just started ripping rounds thru the theater. I'm all for investigating whether it happened the way he said it happened but don't charge him till you can prove HE fired the gun.
