Ohio man gets jail for mocking disabled girl

GOOD!!!!!

People should learn respect and needs to be punished.I remember being a kid in middle school and someone was making fun of my brother who is mentally challenged and handicap from the waist down.I beat the snot out of that kid,and end up in trouble with the school and my parents had to go in to the school and the other kid parents. After the kid admitted what he had done,my father spoke up and said GLAD you got what was coming to you.And looked at the administrator and said ARE WE DONE HERE and took me and my brother and left.Never had an issue with that kid again.
My father told me he was proud I was standing up for my brother who couldn't do so himself and that I was still in trouble for fighting.I had no video games for that day hahahahahaha.

The guy needs an ass kicking, but are you guys really OK with this guy being punished by government for a joke? How is this not covered by The First Amendment? The man's actions are repugnant, but popular speech does not need to be protected.

Beat me to it. The guy is a douche, but jail time is not appropriate here.

Amazing to me how many people support freedom and liberty...until its something they don't like or it affects their pet cause...

YES, a Grown man at his age should know better and doing this at a school bus stop vs in his own home is a big difference. Not only did the child had to listen to this horror this man was creating by making fun of her in public but all the other kids had to witness this also.BTW this is the charges, disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing.SO yes 1stA doesn't stand a chance with this idiot that should be in jail.
Me being a father of 2 if I saw a grown man doing this to my child he would get way worse then a month in jail could ever cause.Seems like the judge wasn't so harsh with little time, I would have given him 2 years probation, not jail time as that cost tax payers money. But 2 years probation and he would have to pay BULLY donation fees and other fees to the victim funds.

The freedom of speech is designed to protect public speech. I have the right to say what I want to or about anyone I like and no one has the right to not be offended.

office ask you questions
your child age 6 is in the back seat
you start to curse in front of this child
office arrest you
