I have a browning BAR semi auto belgium. I took it apart after I got it on trade to clean it and refinish the wook and I can't get the darn thing back together again. Any one in Roswell or general area want to laugh at me AND help me get this d*&m thing back together?

Have you searched YouTube?

Yes, I have watched every youtube out there to watch, I have looked at 3 schematics, none are BAR 099 basics like I need. I am challenged on stuff like this....to say the least. I've read some blogs and apparently they have a reputation of being great guns but pesky to put together after a cleaning job. Made me feel a tad bit better.

Godspeed on your quest for the holy grail.

Don't feel like the lone stranger, surely others in here
(besides you & me) have been in similar spot.
Mine was with a Ruger MkIII pistol. Watched the videos
step by step freeze framing as necessary, no luck.
Even set it aside overnight, start fresh next day with
same result. Gave up, sent it to Ruger, they rebuilt it
and sent it back. Probably not their first time.
Question now is should I get a MKIV or jump ship and
go with a Buckmark or Victory instead?
