I've band sawed through several before. Actually band sawed through a couple AR lowers too for that matter. I'd never use such an experiment for anything other than testing anyway, I just wanted to see if it would work and if it would hold up and not crack to pieces quickly.

What's great about 3D printing, is the ability to perfectly duplicate, ad nauseum, horrendous stippling jobs. Technology is awesome!

The main beef I had with the original one I built was no stippling, smooth sides. This particular grip pattern is called cracked mud. I kinda like it and it definitely has much better grip texture than smooth sides.
