ok, there is hate for those making profit, how do you feel about other auction sites

Gun broker,armslist,etc..... Arnt a community. I don't go to lunch with people from gun broker, or call them when they are sick, or feel happy when they get a new job or have a baby.

I've said this many times and ill say it again because I have nothing better to do at the moment.

People can ask whatever they want and I don't have to buy it, BUT it still, to me, seems like they are dropping a turd in the ODT punch bowl instead of enjoying a turd free drink with friends.

cali201 you are right. You did not ask for most of the comments, and you did ask a good question. I have never sold on GunBroker, but I have purchased a few. GunBroker prices right now, on the items I look at, are high. Very high in most instances and for the most part, they are being relisted over and over. If I were to sell on GunBroker, I would strickly be trying to sell for a big profit. GunBroker is a nation wide site and guns that we see in abundance, cannot be found in other parts of the country. Those that cannot get them, are willing to pay higher than normal prices. This went on even before the latest panic. I would not have any problem in making a profit on GunBroker, or any other auction site.

IMO when I joined this forum in its infancy it was known as a tight knit, small local community, a band of brothers if you will, neighbors etc. This was the place to go for deals not to f over your fellow man. Now its turned into a place to flip stuff for a quick buck. I'm all for capitalism but not at the expense of people close to me. Its like me asking a co-worker if they want my tickets to go to a Hawks game but he has to pay me extra instead of just waiting in line to get tickets at a normal price. I wouldn't do that but hey thats just me.

Bah, in the beginning there was a need for more members so there'd be more deals. The good 'ole days weren't that great. There was plenty of *****ing back then too. Price rants in particular are an ODT tradition.

As for the profiteering, I couldn't care less how much someone makes from a transaction. It's people that take currently available items (walmart ammo vultures) and immediately mark them up here or anywhere. Those guys are douchebags.
