This early 80s vintage Seiko was my grandfather's. It needs a band. Most aftermarket metal bands look bad. They never seem to fit right especially between the lugs. It would probably look best with some type of leather band. But those are hot and uncomfortable to me. And it's not really a nato strap type of watch.

Find yourself a nice leather strap with an alligator pattern and only wear it only on special occasions. It is a family heirloom. Vintage watches are much smaller than what is in current fashion.

Yeah the old alligator style strap would probably look the best on it. And it isn't one I would wear a lot.
