The Liv P51 pilot watch hasn't arrived yet, but I did go look at some TAG Heuer today... They were nice, but the one I really liked was the Aquaracer, and they are like $2800 for the quartz and $3800 for the automatic... Didn't want to spend that kinda money on a watch, but I did glance over and saw a Bulova Marine Star, that looks a lot like the Aquaracer, but for like 1/5 the price. And it was on sale for 25% off, so just over $600 out the door with taxes...

Ok, I am on a cruise, and my wife wanted an emerald ring. So I used that to leverage getting the green light to buy myself my first luxury watch. Went with an obscure brand with a really rich and interesting history... Got them to come down several hundred on the price, use one my cards to get 3% cash back and no sales tax alone saved me another $300...
The pics don't do it justice. It's exquisite in person, even the strap and clasp. Like a work of art. Never owned a watch like this... I feel like a grownup now. haha
