Old 10/22 Ruger

I got an old 10-22 ruger rifle that I've owned about 40 years and its in very good shape. Bought it new has pertty walnut stock and all metal and metal butt plate to, better than the new ones I see at walmart now, shoots perfect. Been thinking about trading but dont know what it might be worth, some say its worth more than new ones. Id like to trade it for something anybody here know what its worth, going to list it for trade but I see where everybody want a dollar value on the things you trade, hope yall can help me out on this infomation. serial number starts with 112. thank you

I sold an older one like that a short while back for $200. I would give $200 for yours before I would run out and get one of the new one's for any day of the week.

112 prefix puts it at 1973 . Condition is everything . $175 to $225 .

This^^ If in really good condition I would pay no more than $225. Rough shape I would give no more than $175. The main reason I would want one of that age is the action. Metal beats plastic any day IMO. On the other hand I can get one BNIB for that out the door.
