Old smith revolver serial number look up help

Anyone know the code to figure out year a s&w revolver was made?

I looked online and im left more perplexed.

I checked it out before. After 40 mins on that site....couldnt find it.

One of the members on the Smith sight will have the book with all the mfg. info.
Post your info and someone will reply.
There will be a sub catagory to give your info to.(date of mfg)
