Hey all. Have a couple old smith revolvers. Wondering if someone could give me any insight possible. I’m going to sell these but I can’t find anything related to the model numbers on these.

First gun in pics is a 32 long revolver.
Second gun is a 32 long as well.
Last is a 38 special

Any help is appreciate. Tried smith’s serial decoder and it was no help.

Don't expect to retire off them... Middeling-old Smiths aren't that collectible. Too many of them still around, and in oddball calibers that no one wants to deal with today. Plus, those are in pretty rough shape.

Probably going to be a couple of hundred for each at best.

LOL.
Definitely not trying to retire off them but I figured they might be worth something being they’re pretty old. Thanks for the reply. Couple hundred each sounds pretty fair.

As stated, these appear to be Smith & Wesson revolvers produced before 1957 when S&W began stamping the model numbers on their revolvers. Serial numbers, barrel markings, cylinder markings, barrel flat markings, will aid in identifying the revolvers and the approximate year of production. Take the grips off, carefully, and see if the serial number is etched on the inside of the grips. Again, just helps identify the revolver.

I will say this, on older S&W revolvers, if you are looking to sell them, condition will determine the value, not necessarily the age. Revolvers that have been in the family for years and years, will have much more value to the family than they will to anyone else.
