"Old Soldier's Special" Breakfast

SOS was an Army staple for me, but I miss my mama’s chipped beef. Never learned how to make it, or find her recipe.

There was a old saying. “ it may look like sh*t, but it will taste like gold”. Reference to when you haven’t had anything to eat in so long.

Good eye. It was thicker than I usually make it; but still as tasty as ever.

First experience was in the Army. That or chipped beef but I am truly in love with sausage gravy with biscuits.

When I make sausage gravy I pour it on potatoes, bread, biscuits - tastes good on everything, especially with a couple of fried eggs on top of everything! I call it my Weight Watchers Special breakfast - I watch my weight go up every time I fix it for breakfast
