Old Traditional Thanksgiving Hunts

Dad would load his two pointers, Rita and Mac into his old Chevy truck and we would head to the woods. Those dogs could find birds it they were any in the woods. We never hunted a covey out. Left some and moved on. Mom would make dressing and bake quail legs, backs, and breasts into the dressing. Sure wish I could have some now!!!
