Had a neighbor burn his house down a couple years back. Thought the fire was out in his charcoal grill, rolled it up under the eave, went to bed. He and his wife barely made it out, house was blazing when they woke up.
Fire ran up the wall, in through the eave, then wind tunneled through the attic.
