Little did you know, that Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed in Australia and the beach scene in Deadman’s Chest was filmed on Whitehaven Beach just south of this place. Hollywood being Hollywood finally realised that coconut palms are not native to Australia so had these imported for the shoot, later transported to the resort...........
