Ok so this weekend I was shooting my Daniel Defense DDM4 and my Rock River LAR-15 and noticed that the Rock River is louder.

They both have 16" Barrels. The Daniel Defense has a M4 profile barrel and the Rock River has a heavy barrel. They both have standard birdcage flash hiders I was using the same ammo.

This has me and a couple of my friends wonder what the deal was? The only difference we could think of was that the Daniel Defense has a H buffer and the Rock doesn't. Could that be what is making the difference?

if one is spinning faster than the other it would take less force to move that object as compared to the one with less spin, and the one with more spin will be moving faster (i think) and there wouldn't be as much pressure behind the bullet at exit so it would be quieter than the one with less spin moving slower.
Im just guessing i aint got science to back it up lol.
