I own both a 7-08 (Tikka T3 in a bell and carson stock) and a 308 (Tikka T3 CTR) . My neighbor owns a 6.5 creed (Savage something). I truthfully like all three. BUT, the 308 is easier to find ammo for and their is a wider variety of ammo out there. Depending on my uses, I'd probably go 308.

7mm-08 all day long, I prefer it over the 308 for it’s better ballistics and lesser recoil. I like the 308 to they’re both relatively easy to get ammo if you’re buying factory stuff, but if you’re hand loading you can still get a lot out of both calibers.
