Thank you everyone for the prayers, they are needed. He was only 45 years old and he was a Police Officer for 16 years. The picture of him with President Bush, he was working for Jefferson PD at the time. Mike was born and raised in Jackson County. My brother and I were his closest friends and we received a phone call from his girlfriend Wednesday morning, he was found by his roommate earlier that morning. She was trying to wake him up to go to a dr appointment. He was suffing with some stomach bug in the days prior. His body still hasn't been released by the coroners office yet.
