Opening Day Hunt

and then they go nocturnal and you remember.Saw 4 bucks the other night at 2 am.one was easy B&C

And this proves that they don't go nocturnal, because they are primarily nighttime animals, year round. Especially the bucks.

Swing and a miss for me.
I saw 6 this evening. Great day regardless of the heat, skeeters and missing.

Can’t eat antlers.....choot ‘em.
I had 3 different spotted fawns in easy bow range all evening. I refuse to shoot anything with spots.
Mama finally came through at last light and I shot right under her. I was patient and held for a long time, waiting for a dead broadside shot. I failed to do my part and shot just beneath her. I held at the bottom of her vitals, expecting the impact to be above my point of aim since I was 25’ up. I reckon I figured wrong.
