A Netflix original movie about one of the most successful intelligence operations of WW2. Most WW2 history buffs will know the story.
The movie is well done. On the important details, they do a decent job of sticking to the history. Some Hollywood embellishment, but mostly on small stuff that doesn't change the overall narrative of what took place. Side note: Ian Flemming (the creator of James Bond/007) is depicated, as he was in real life, as an officer involved in the planning and execution of the operation. Along with some good inside-joke type humor about too many people in the British intelligence services writing spy novels.
And, as a bonus: Netflix is walking back their woke b.s. They had a really bad 1st quarter, and the inevitable "the business of business is business" thinking has taken hold. WIthin the last week or so, the CEO issues a memo to employees that if the content Netflix airs bothers them, maybe it's not the right workplace for them.
