Opinions/advice for sick friend

From his sister: He isnt on digoxin. He is on flecainide.
For arrhythmias. No blood thinners.

Thoughts?
Flecainide interacts with numerous antibiotics and has a plethora of side effects. I would recommend that he takes all his medications to his provider and have him or her look for possible interactions.
Has he tried the Coliseum or Navicent? They both have excellent doctors, and I know the Coliseum has some pretty awesome nurses. He needs to get in to see some specialist and have them figure out what's going on before it's too late!
ODT is a great place to buy/trade guns but it's not the best place for medical advice, especially in what sounds to be a literal life or death situation! My professional medical opinion is get him to a doctor!!

I will pass this on, but she has been taking him to multiple doctors, I think he hasn't been seen by the RIGHT one yet. He was at Navicent here in Byron for about a week...i thought they would transfer him to the one in Macon but instead they gave him 2 units of blood and sent him home.

The other 2 hospitals were Phoebe in Albany and Houston.

Of the 2 in Macon, any suggestions as to which one?

Well you may be right about ODT and suggestions...but there is a wealth of information here and you're actually one of the ones I was hoping would reply to this thread. So thank you very much for that. He's not family to me but I still want to help all I can, I feel terrible for him and his family. She is exhausted but not willing to give up on her brother, I'm trying to help her as much as possible but we have reached the point of grasping at straws for anything that can provide an answer...

Mercer is the university research hospital. Coliseum is Hospital Corporation of America, a for profit.

I personally would choose the Coliseum, but I'm biased. Wherever you take him, make sure to take all his meds and all his medical records. The doctors need a complete and accurate health history to be as thorough as possible.

I let her know. Hopefully she will take him there. She is running out of options imo

i agree with teh above abotu looking at exactly what he's eating and how much. i've seen sick folks loose TONS of weight and most of it was due to not eating and not the actual sickness itself. Basic math is calories have to go somewhere. one other thing to consider that i would honestly hope they would have looked at by now is parasites, folks get worms all the time in very random ways and can cause the symptoms you mention
