It appears most of these people harping about the horrors of Atlanta haven't visited since the 90s and have no clue what they are talking about relevant to Atlanta in 2018.

It's like me saying Times Square is a drug infested, crack and prostitute riddled s--hole due to an impression I had from 1984.

You guys are stuck in a time warp.

It’s the same people who harp about Chicago being a ****hole thug-infested war zone because they hear about murders amongst black youth in the ghettos. In reality, it’s a great American city and I enjoy it every time I visit. I wouldnt live there, but its a fun city.

I like liiving in Atlanta. The wife and I both worked downtown in the 80"s when we got married and there is no way we could have made it with me commuting an hour each way after the kids arrived. I did pay and arm and a leg for private school but it was worth it. It still had it's drinking and drugs but at least the parents would get involved when stuff happened. I am a lonely conservative and I don't tell many people about my gun cabinet but there are 2 Quickshots close by so I cannot be alone right? I love my church and we are involved in the community. There are neat restaurants close by and theater if I choose. The wife wants to downsize into a fixer upper near the beltline and I am thinking old warehouse with an elevator and underground garage. The nasty parts of town are being bought up by developers and sold to trendy hispters to gentrify. If one pays 500k for a small house it is a little hard to be happy with a crack house next door and nasty schools down the street. I just don't have a solution for traffic --

Impossible! How can you have survived in Atlanta this long? Havent you seen all the guys here who switch their carry piece to a glock with a 30rd extendo and throw the AR in the trunk for good measure, just to drive through the connector?? Lies!
