The inside fireplace will get redone next...I'll be sure to do a before and after.
I still have to set the top/cap, install the piece of rough cut lumber for the mantle, get the granite top and floor cut/installed for the Green Egg table and do a muriatic acid wash on it.

Thank you fellas. I learned how to do this from my Father and late-Uncle. We used to have a family-owned masonry business.
Once I get the mantle set the herringbone will make more sense and look way better. I have some old rough-cut barn wood that I'm working on for the mantle.
Got the mantle mocked up. Now it's time for some light sanding and a sealant/poly.
