Own your own StG 44!!!!!

They're going to charge as much as they feel they can, I doubt they're geared up for high volume production, (even if there's the demand to support it), so they'll be looking to make their money on a relatively low volume of sales. That would suggest it'll be a hefty price tag. One factor is how many existing components they use, ie the trigger group, which will reduce price but dilute the accuracy of the reproduction. I personally don't want one that looks right at 10 feet, I want one the looks and functions as close to the original as possible.

Bit like Erma's 380 'Luger', looked a bit like the original, but not up close, and functioned quite differently.

Agreed

Usually when these WW2 replicas pop up, they're in the 4-6k range.

$4000+

I think the last STG semi-auto's available in the US went around the same price mark, as did the last FG-42 semi-autos. If they can produce these for under $2k and still make money, I'll be surprised. Tooling isn't cheap and these aren't AR-15's.

I like how people whine of authenticity then want it in x39.

I understand what your saying, but 8mm Kurtz and x39 are really similar rounds. & x39 is available where are you going to find 8mm kurtz?

Plus a lot of the authenticity that's wanted is in looks and function. Basically we don't want a highpoint carbine dressed up in a costume or a 10/22 dressed up.
