Paint repair pricing?

Someone took paint the paint off our bumper in the parking lot. No note, etc. Down to the plastic in spots. 2019 Toyota Sienna. How much am I looking at for paint repair at the dealer? Car is paid in full; Will it show on the Carfax (lien/no lien affect reporting)? I’m thinking an insurance claim won’t be worth it by the time all is said and done. What say ye?

I'm not expert, but something similar happened to my Honda and it was around 500 ish -give or take.
NOT at the dealer, but the shop the dealer uses.

So nice of them not to leave a note after they hit you.

Any paint shop will have to see it to give you a price.

Tell them up front it is cash, not an insurance claim, and a small shop will likely do you better than a dealership on price. And, cash means CASH.

I miss stainless steel bumpers that did exactly that, with no damage.

My wife barely brushed our mailbox base in her Nissan and caused $750 of cosmetic damage similiar to yours.
