panic buying

It is a catch 22. I don't want to get gas but since everyone is buying it up I had to get some just in case they really do run out. I hate to add to the problem but I need to be able to get to work. That's how a panic works. How do you guys store gas effectively.

it's only panic buying if you sill your vehicles tank, and every gas can you have plus a large tank in the bed of your truck

Filled up my car this afternoon. Race Track on Ga 20 and 316. No lines no hassle. Got booze and food yesterday but, that's my normal Friday routine. Eggs, milk, bread, and water were gone. It's a metro Atlanta tradition to make french toast during a nonexistent crisis.

I did make a beer and bourbon run today. I have enough water bottles frozen in the freezer to last for a week.

In previous snow storms, I cooked for a week on my gas/charcoal grill. If push comes to shove, I'll go live in the camper.

If you have to make extensive preparations for a storm, you may not be living day to day with the right mindset. Just sayin.
