That depends on the crime. Although in this high profile case it's probably true. But people say there's no Fed Parole which is a half truth. The Feds sentence people in months followed by what they call Supervised Release which works the same as parole.

I thought he got 18 MONTHS.
EDIT: I'm wrong....he got 18 YEARS. That's insane. The Capital policeman who shot and killed the unarmed woman gets NOTHING.
