Simple solutions:

A) Buy the gun and gift it to person A, hell make a bill of sail if you want and sell it to them for a dollar or pay for a NICS check at an FFL.

B) Give him the money to buy it himself and interpret for him (or he can use Google/whatever app he wants).

The question was is it legal, not whether it's something I'd do personally. As far as I can tell A is well known to B, so try not to introduce the same kind of misrepresentations the antis love to slip into their arguments.

Again, seems like nonsense to me, but we're discussing legality, not emotions.
