Pet shot and at the vet

Sorry about the cat but you bear the responsibility.

It was likely shot because one of your neighbors is tired of dealing with it on their property, likely being a nuisance.

Pets should not run free and should be neutered.

You guys crack me up......remember this dog "that came and went as it pleased" according to the OP.
You don't see a difference in an animal being shot on someone else's property vs being shot on it's own property (and in that case literally defending it's home)?

Come back when you make some sense. cat was running loose and was shot. Not condoning shooting it, owner had kept it on his property it likely would not have been shot.

Bet you let your animals run all over unspayed

Woodduck, every dog and cat I have ever owned was at the vet once a year and my cat has never seen the outside, I have also saved more than my fair share with my out of pocket cash, so spare me your BS comments.

I deleted my original comment there seems to be enough bickering on here today....

True that. If all pet owners fixed their pets and kept them on leashes or confined in the yard/home everyone would be happier. And their pets would be safer.

I foolishly paid a neighbor (old Duluth neighborhood 2010) for estimated Vet bills when his little white fluffy dog (bichon) wandered on my front yard and was torn up by one of my dogs, in my yard. The final vet bill was $4200 and he said by me paying him the original estimated $1,581 up front I had admitted it was my fault and threatened to sue me for the difference. He's lucky I didn't choke him to death when he gave me his intent to sue letter. I did say some unpleasant things to him about him and his wife. I then went to animal control in Lawrenceville and had a citation written against him for letting his dog run free. End of discussion. He used to let his dog out the front yard to run loose for hours. He is lucky it didn't get run over by a car. I wish I had that $1,581 back. Lesson learned - before you pay anyone anything make certain that ends your liability. Stupid me.

My dog is a Rotty and I panicked because I was worried the home owners association would attempt to put my dog down.

Interesting on how polarizing this thread has become. And I think you are a good person based on the values you demonstrated with your dog. :)

pls tell me who that hot blonde is

You want a hot Blonde? This photo was posted yesterday on another site I frequent. Exercise related, not porn. (that would be yet another site(s) I frequent) It's not fair that I am the only one to suffer. And if I knew either they would have restraining orders against me.
