Not really an optic I guess, but picked up this neat thermal imager. Works pretty good around the house, but I wonder if I should try and sell and get a monocular or night vision. May be better to just keep as it seems like a pretty useful tool.

That they do. I did notice that every GFCI in the house glows pretty bright, as well as the GFCI breaker in my panel.Depends on what you want to use it for…..comes in real handy when checking electrical terminals for loose connections…..
Interesting, how hot are they? That they do. I did notice that every GFCI in the house glows pretty bright, as well as the GFCI breaker in my panel.

Not hot to the touch, but any GFCI device uses power all the time. It’s not much, but this thing seems super sensitive. I haven’t quite figured out how to set everything up in it, but there are a tone of settings and calibrations.Interesting, how hot are they?
It’s pretty cool what’s you figure it out.Not hot to the touch, but any GFCI device uses power all the time. It’s not much, but this thing seems super sensitive. I haven’t quite figured out how to set everything up in it, but there are a tone of settings and calibrations.
Yeah, I can see every missed or halfassed piece of insulation is in the house. It’s pretty cool what’s you figure it out.
Checking for leaks, electrical issues, poor insulation, automotive diagnostics, seeing animals in the yard, taking pictures of the dogs and kids, random stuff…That device that you have looks like a device used in building enclosure assessments. What do you intend to use it with most?
