Pics of set ups and lures...where did you catch those fish?

Hydra-Sport 20ft center console. I've already got the boat, but it had a couple of small issues I wanted fixed and went ahead and got the mechanic to mount a new trolling motor and sonar/GPS for me.

It's a pretty cool system. The trolling motor and sonar communicate and can be set up so the motor follows what the sonar/GPS is telling it as for following bottom contour, GPS coordinance, speed, etc...

It will make it a lot easier to focus on fishing.
Bear, what unit are you having installed. I'm debating whether to put one on my 20' CC, too. Lots of options out there.. also, I'd wanna go with a saltwater version.

This one links to my Hummingbird Sonar and cost more because of that.

You can get basically the same unit for about $300 less without the link.

I have that mounted on my 18' Carolina Skiff. I love the "spot lock" feature. No anchor needed. I was using it this weekend and with a steady south wind of 10-15 mph and the tide ripping out at full speed in the same direction and it would hold the boat exactly where I wanted it. I love it. Kind of wishing I bought the model that has auto deploy but it was $500 more.

I thought about getting the one with auto deploy, but yeah, $500...

Make sure to wear the belt and, if you are going into water with any depth at all, wear a PFD. Water that would be no big deal to fall in without waders can kill you quick with waders because they fill with water and pull you down.
